Tagging is tagging… right?

One page tagged, 6 Web Analytics tools configured… one table comparing results
So, tagging is tagging, right? If i tag a page with multiple tags i expect the Analytics reports to be in-line, and if not that at least the delta between trends over time.. (every WA solution has its own crediting algorithm and therefore it’s natural to get different numbers). The question i’ve always been asked is “how much difference there is between vendor A and vendor B?”…

“it’s really impossible to predict” has always been my answer.

this graph’s pourpose is to proove this sentence. Highest figures vendor today it’s not going to be the one with highest figures tomorrow….

Now the question is: why are tagging numbers so damn different each other even for the same single page?
